Climate justice begins with recognition of Indigenous wisdom, of transparency in resource management, and of collective power to end deforestation and fossil dependence. Solutions to the climate crisis aren’t waiting in the lab, they’re already alive in the forests, in communities who’ve been restoring balance for generations.
Indigenous peoples are the original climate custodians, with centuries of living proof that sustainability is cultural, not technical.
Transparency and access to information are critical for zero deforestation.
Protecting their land rights is protecting Earth’s lungs, law and policy must follow.
