Justice Coalition for Our Planet (JustCOP)

Justice Coalition for Our Planet (JustCOP) is a collective of civil society organizations, researchers, and advocates working toward climate justice, biodiversity protection, and the empowerment of Indigenous and vulnerable communities. We believe that true climate leadership begins with justice, ensuring that those most affected by the crisis have a voice in shaping solutions.

Our members collaborate across local, national, and international platforms, including the UNFCCC and COP30, to advance policies rooted in ecological integrity and human rights.

Our Advocacy Focus

  1. The nexus between climate change, forests, and biodiversity.
  2. Indigenous peoples and vulnerable communities’ rights.
  3. Early retirement of fossil fuels and a just energy transition.
  4. Equitable and transparent climate finance.
  5. Meaningful participation in national and global processes, including COP30.

Our Goals

We aim to promote climate justice and biodiversity protection by strengthening the rights of Indigenous peoples and vulnerable groups. Through collective advocacy, JustCOP envisions a socially and ecologically just governance framework that restores balance between people, nature, and economy.
