Justice Coalition for Our Planet (JustCOP)

Justice Coalition for Our Planet (JustCOP) is a coalition of civil society organizations dedicated to legal advocacy, research, and environmental monitoring. Our focus spans climate change, biodiversity, Indigenous Peoples’ rights, and vulnerable communities.

We collaborate to halt ecosystem destruction and promote a just climate transition alongside a sustainable economy. Our work is advanced through public campaigns, research, and advocacy at both national and global levels, including key international forums such as COP30.

Our Advocacy Focus

  1. The nexus of climate change, forests, and biodiversity.
  2. Protection of Indigenous Peoples’ rights and vulnerable groups.
  3. A fair and planned phase-out of fossil fuels.
  4. Equitable and transparent climate finance.
  5. Inclusive participation in global decision-making processes, including COP30.

Our Goals

We are committed to advancing climate justice and safeguarding biodiversity in Indonesia by:

  • Strengthening the rights of Indigenous Peoples and vulnerable communities.
  • Promoting social-ecological governance that is just, transparent, and sustainable.
